Rev. Justin Herman
Senior Pastor
Pastor Herman received his Master’s of Divinity Degree in 2006 from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. Since then he has served in California, Montana, and a brief stint at IPFW in Fort Wayne before accepting a Call from the Indiana District to serve as the campus pastor here at Purdue. He is married to Rose, who he met while serving in Montana, and together they have two children; Noah and Adelyn. Besides his love for campus ministry his favorite things are spending time with his wife and children, friends, and the rest of his and Rose’s family in Montana and Michigan. His favorite past time is following the Detroit Tigers and Purdue Sports. Boiler up!
Rev. Jared DeBlieck
Associate Pastor
Pastor DeBlieck received his Master’s of Divinity Degree in 2014 from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. He previously served in Southern Illinois where he was also a campus pastor. In 2019 he accepted the Call from the Indiana District to be the Associate Pastor at University Lutheran Church. Pastor DeBlieck and his wife, Morgan, have two children; Lillian and Iris. He is passionate about campus ministry and the blessing it is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the students of Purdue and the West Lafayette community. Pastor enjoys time with family and friends, academic study, taking in both the city and the natural world of God’s creation; his favorite sports teams are the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Blackhawks, and of course anything Purdue!
